Wird Abi Bakr as-Sakran
An especially powerful litany of protection passed down and recited by the Bā ʿAlawī Masters.

The Litany of Abī Bakr as-Saqqāf, God be pleased with him

A powerful litanty [wird] from the Saint and Scholar, Imām Abū Bakr bin ʿAbd al-Raḥmān as-Saqqāf used for protection from all evils from humans, jinn, people in positions of power and whatever else that tries to harm  you.

Ḥabīb Kāẓim as-Saqqāf instructed all of the students of Sacred Knowledge during his Australian Tour in 2019 within Sydney to recite it three (3) times a day due to the heavy pressure of the demons (of the humans and jinn), black magic [sihr] and all other evil activities and sins that are rampant in our city.

Instructions

To be recited three (3) times a day as recommended by Ḥabīb Kāẓim as-Saqqāf:

  1. Once in the morning, preferrably after the Dawn Prayer [fajr];
  2. Once any time during the day, such as after the Noon Prayer [ẓuhr];
  3. Once in the evening, preferrably after the Sunset Prayer [maghrib].

[Sūra aṣ-Ṣāffāt (37), Verses 180-182]

English Translation

I seek refuge in God from the accursed Satan!

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful.

O God! I have protected myself with the fortification of God: the length of which is (what God has Willed); its lock is (there is no god but God); its door is (Muḥammad is the Messenger of God) God bless and safeguard him and his family; its roof is, (there is no Power nor Strength except with God, the Most Exalted, the Mighty).

We surround ourselves with:

In the Name of God, Most Compassionate, Most Merciful ١﴿
All Praise be to God, Lord of the Universe ﴾٢﴿
Most Compassionate, Most Merciful ﴾٣﴿
Lord of the Day of Judgement ﴾٤﴿
You alone do we worship, and to You alone do we turn for help ﴾٥﴿
Guide us to the Straight Way  ﴾٦﴿
The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace; not the way of those who have earned your anger, nor of those who went astray ﴾٧﴿

[Sūra al-Fātiḥa (1), Verses 1-7]

With His Wall (of Protection), with His Wall (of Protection), with His Wall (of Protection).

And the Qur’ānic Verse:

God! There is no deity but Him; the Ever-Living, the Self Subsisting, the Eternal One. Neither slumber nor sleep can overtake Him. To Him belongs whatsoever is in the Heavens and whatsoever is on the earth. Who is there that can intercede in His Presence except by His permission? He Knows what will happen to them (His creatures) in this world and what will happen to them in the Hereafter; nor shall they comprehend anything at all of His Knowledge except as He Wills. His Throne extends over the Heavens and the earth, and guarding and preserving it, does not exhaust Him, for He is the Exalted, the All-Mighty. ﴾٢٥٥﴿

[Sūra al-Baqara (2), Verse 255]

This verse will protect us the way the Angels have protected the Prophetic city – with no trench or walls – from every Decreed Ordainment and from every warned-about threat;

God is our shield. (3 times)

Against our enemies and the enemies of God; from the Pillar of God’s Throne to the depths of God’s earth; with a hundred thousand thousand thousand of: There is no Power nor Strength except with God, the Exalted, the Mighty.

Its composition will never break with a hundred thousand thousand thousand of: There is no Power nor Strength except with Allāh, the Exalted, the Mighty. It’s fortification will never shatter with a hundred thousand thousand thousand of: There is no Power nor Strength except with God, the Exalted, the Mighty.

O God! If someone from the jinn, humans, beasts or anything else from the rest of creation, of humankind, devil, ruler, or evil whisperer, plots to cause me any harm, then cause their (evil) gazes to relapse, and instill trouble in their hearts, and make them bankrupt, and disable them from head to toe, so that they can neither cross a plane, nor climb a mountain, with a hundred thousand thousand thousand of: There is no Power nor Strength except with God, the Exalted, the Mighty.

And may the Blessings and Peace of God be upon our master Muḥammad, and upon his family.

Glory be to your Lord; the Lord of Honour and Power ١٨٠﴿
Who is far superior than what they attribute to Him and Peace be on the Messengers ١٨١﴿
And Praise be to God, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds ١٨٢﴿

[Sūra aṣ-Ṣaffāt (37), Verses 180-182]

Within every moment forever, to the number of His Creation, to the extent of His Pleasure, to the weight of His Throne, and the ink that it would take to write His Words.
